Double exposure technique creating ethereal transformations of familiar landscapes.

About this series
Pictures from this series were displayed in the Contemporary Art Museum in Toruń and awarded as the Best Photograph of Kujawsko-Pomorskie. In this series, I employ a double exposure technique that transforms familiar landscapes into ethereal, otherworldly visions. By overlaying the same image rotated 180 degrees, I create a sophisticated dialogue between reality and reflection, where architectural and natural forms persist while their chromatic reality undergoes complete metamorphosis. My technique reveals an ongoing exploration of visual perception - while the structural integrity of subjects remains intact, their color relationships are entirely reconstituted through the secondary exposure. This creates a liminal space between documentation and interpretation, where viewers encounter recognizable forms clothed in impossible hues. The awarded photograph from this series captures the essence of the Wisła riverscape, embodying what critics have described as quintessentially "wiślany" - a term that acknowledges both the geographic specificity and my spiritual connection to Poland's most significant waterway.
Technical Notes
Double exposure methodology utilizing 180-degree rotation creates chromatic transformation while preserving structural forms.
